Taking place from July 25-27, 2025, this exciting event celebrates the stunning caladium plant. The festival also offers a variety of fun activities, including craft vendors, a car show featuring classic and vintage vehicles, and more. Visitors can stroll through the town’s beautifully decorated streets, surrounded by vibrant murals and caladium-filled planters. Bring your family, spouse’s, children, and neighbors. Congratulate the 2024 contest winners, First Place, Mary Flummer “Magic of Caladiums”, Second Place, PEOPLES CHOICE, Candy Wolfe, “Get Outta My Swamp”, Third Place, Chris Marsh “Life in Lake Placid is like a Bowl of Caladiums”. Will they return for two consecutive years as winners? Weather conditions are predicted to be excellent, with full sun, little chance of rain, and absolutely no chance of snow.
